Christmas officially started today!

We have a family tradition of going to the mountain and getting our Christmas tree on the day after Thanksgiving and this year was no exception. The good news is we got really high up because there was no snow so we got a beautiful noble fir. The bad news was there was no snow to go sledding! But we had a blast anyway (well, except for when Adam fell out of the tree but he's OK!) It was just great to have all of us there together because Aaron was not able to be home for Thanksgiving last year and it's just not the same with anyone missing. Even my brother was here with us. Here are some pictures from our day.

I was flipping through "next blogs" and came across yours. I enjoyed reading your post about your Christmas tree trip. Sounds like a lot of fun :). I even clicked on some of your favorite blogs listed on your page. Thanks for some wholesome, family "stuff". Have a great holiday season :). Alice @ The Shadow of the Cross.
