OK so no one can ever say that my children don't have imagination! Kirsta, Kenan, and Caleb came up for the weekend and on Saturday we went out on the lake with the boat. We pulled the kids around on the tube and had lunch on the boat....just a great day! Well on the ride back in, all the kids were down in the cabin. Kirsta and I were riding up in the front when Tim told us to look down into the cabin. We found them sitting around the table playing "Graham cracker poker"!!! Since none of them really even know how to play poker, it was more like...a made up card game with graham crackers!! So funny!
Today (Sunday) we had our regular (every 3months) get together with Briscoes, Woodwards, Willadsons, and Carters (oh, ya, that's us!) This time we met at Steve and Diane's. We girls (and kids) made garden stakes with cool stuff on them. I would post pictures but didn't take any. Mine turned out sorta weird but Bee's were really cool and so were Jonathan's and Hannah's. The guys mostly just hung out in Steve's "man cave" garage. Diane and I had a good time grossing out Bee with our discussions on worm composting! For out next gathering in September we are considering all going camping for a weekend!

It looks like you guys had so much fun! My mom taught us to play poker with pretzels. Ryan's grandma taught him to play with pennies when he was a kid. He got in big trouble at camp one summer when he won all the other kids snack shack money. :)
